Sara Goldstein and I are first-year students at Antioch College, and we will be hosting a parli debate demonstration (?The Great Antioch Debate?) between Antioch College President Mark Roosevelt and Chief Admission Officer Micah Canal next Wednesday, January 16, at 6pm in McGregor Hall, Room 113. Parli debate is one of many forms of formal competitive debate, and we hope this event will ignite interest in forming a student debate team at Antioch College. All are welcome to attend! We plan on having desserts as well. The debate prompt is currently up in the air, so if you have any ideas or suggestions, let me know! We hope to see you there.
